Paradosiaki Olympou was founded in 1997 for the production and distribution of traditional, organic farming and high quality products on the market. The objective existence of Paradosiaki Olympou, is to meet the needs and self-preservation of the Monastery St. Dionysius, and its contribution to the restoration of the Old I. Monastery Ag. Dionysios in Olympus, which was destroyed during the Second World War, by the Germans.
PARADOSIAKI OLYMPOU
Paradosiaki Olympou has 2 outlets in Katerini and in Athens. It produces traditional Greek dairy products and organic free range pork meat. The dairy and farm which today are inaccessible, are located in Litochoro Pieria, in the National Park of Olympos.

HISTORY OF THE MONASTERY
The Monastery of Agios Dionysios is a rare monument of architecture and aesthetics, ideally integrated into the natural environment. It is located in the National Park of Olympus and is made by stone and wood that make it look like a natural fortress plateau.
Despite the many disasters, the monastery has everlasting life and a 500 years presence of monks (www.imado.gr). Due to the personality of St. Dionysios, it soon became widely known and developed great intellectual activity, along the lines of its founder.
